Applicants possessing the educational qualification including thosein the final semester/year of their qualifying examinations, butexpect to complete all the requirements for award of the degree (like examinations, project dissertation, viva-voce etc.) and furnish the necessary certificates by 31October,2019are eligible to apply.

Eligibility;-

• Applicants possessing a minimum of Second Class or equivalentina Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of Engineering/Technology or

• Master’s degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Instrumentation, Electronics,Computer Applications as applicable to individual departments / programmes withavalid GATE 2017/ 2018/ 2019score are eligible toapply.

Important Dates;-

• Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP)provides a common platform forthecandidate to make the most preferred choice for an admission into M.Tech  Programmesthrough GATE in  participating institutions (IISc&  IITs).Admission offers for M Tech programmes of IISc for all the above disciplinesand for  M.Des.(from GATE stream) will be made on COAP.

Candidates  will  have  to registeronCOAPto accept the offer.

• Sponsored candidatesfrom Defence, DRDO, BARC, ISRO, NAL,NTRO,KSRTC, BMTC,BDA, PWD and CPRI applying for acourse programmeunder the sponsored category mustcompulsorily fill an online application form and submit the printed version, in duplicate, on or before 27 March 2019.

• Master of Design (MDes)in Product Design and Engineering offered by Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing

Eligibility;-
Applicants possessing a minimum of second class inBachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology Design / Architecture with valid GATE2017/ 2018/ 2019or CEED 2019scoreare eligible to apply

IISC PG Admission Selection procedure:-

• Candidates will be shortlisted for a design aptitude test and an interview basedon theGATE / CEED scoreas per the  schedule on the IISc website under  Important Dates.

Selection will be basedon the performance in the design aptitude test and interview.

• The announcement of the results and issueof admission of offers for candidates shortlisted on GATE score will  be through COAP,and forthose based  on  CEED,directly  by  the  Institute.Therefore,  thecandidates with GATE are required to register on COAP as detailed atsection

3 Master of Management (MMgt)
Eligibility;-

•  Applicants possessing a minimum of firstclassor equivalent in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent with a valid GATE2017/ 2018/ 2019or CAT2018or GMATscoresare eligible to apply

Selection procedure:-Candidates will be short-listed for a group discussion and interview based on GATE / CAT /GMAT scoresas per the schedule given on the IISc website under Important Dates.Selection will be based on the performance in the group discussion and interview.
